Flash Steelworks is the developer and producer of advanced high strength steel and armor plate. Six SBIR Phase III grants total over $35M to bring Flash to market. US Dept of Energy called Flash “the world’s leading performing material for lighter, stronger vehicles”. The US Army has found Flash to be the highest overall performing metal with excellent weldability, even at 2,000MPa. Mass savings have been demonstrated at over 50% at a cost savings in vehicle components like bumpers, skid plates, and a GM Powertrain fuel shield.
