mode40
Description:
Manufacturers rarely lack technology. They lack one picture of what all of it is telling them.
mode40 builds that picture. Our platform, the Singularity, connects the equipment, legacy systems, institutional knowledge, and point solutions already running on your floor, systems that were never designed to share data. It turns them into a living digital twin of how your plant actually runs, and puts the next action in front of the person who has to take it.
Nothing gets ripped out. Our practitioners make the systems you already have talk to each other, and you own the data, the models, and the intelligence layer on your own infrastructure.
The platform is composable, so you choose where to start. That can be practitioners only, with no software at all. It can be a single module that grows as you need it. Or it can be the full set, including agentic modules that work as digital employees.
Our team ran the floor before we ever built the software. Founder Cameron Bergen spent 20 years inside one of Canada's largest primary food processors, a business acquired for over a billion dollars in 2018, and generated more than $300 million in annual savings across the operations he ran. mode40 began when that company was acquired, taking the same approach out to other manufacturers. It started in food and beverage and now runs in aerospace and defense as well.
Every one of these numbers came off a plant floor. Downtime dropped 86% across seven production facilities. Orders going out incomplete fell from 50 a month to 12 within six months. Labor cost came down 10%. And it holds at scale: one customer runs 19 facilities on a single installation.
Talk to one of our practitioners to see where your plant would start.
